Sublime colours

We were very excited to find out how our manufacturer will be printing on our new products. We want to go over the process with you today but before we do you should know that most neoprene used in industry is coated in a very thin polyester fabric, the rubber itself can tear easily but the polyester is very strong. So the polyester protects the rubber and makes it slippery.

Where are we in the production cycle?

We're waiting for the production prototypes to arrive from the manufacturer. They should be here in the next couple of days.

Once we've checked the prototypes for fit and other details we'll give the manufacturer the go-ahead for production. We'll start with the MacBook sleeves, then the 15.4 inch MacBook Pros and finally the 17 inch MacBook Pros. Read More...

We're changing the material

Most people don't know this but there's a lot of different types of Neoprene. The cheaper grades are not as dense, they're quite light. The more expensive stuff is a lot denser, there's less air in it and it feels more solid. The expensive stuff is typically used in diving wetsuits.

A useful, little change

We looked at how we could increase the functionality of the accessory bag. One of the things that has always annoyed us is that every time you put in the adaptor you have to point the point the prongs of the plug either down or to the outside. Otherwise it can scratch whatever else is in the bag.
