Designed by renowned graphics firm Elixir shows comics gliding over a luxurious wooden background. Bookmarks and bags show you which comics you’ve started reading and which you’ve finished. Boxes let you know there’s a whole series just a tap away.

Optimized

ComicZeal has been optimized for HOW and WHEN you read comics. We know sometimes you’re reading while standing on a train, so the interface can be operated one-handed. We know sometimes you’re reading in bed, so you can lock the screen orientation.

Comics

You can read your own comics and graphic novels, but you can also use a Wi-Fi connection to download hundreds of Golden Age Comics and Jim Shelley’s Flashback Universe for free from our servers.

The best zoom

Reading comics is a breeze, we’ve got the best zoom implementation of any reader. Use pinching to set the zoom level and ComicZeal remembers it for the rest of the comic, page to page.

Loupe

To read text or examine artwork simply single-tap anywhere on the comic to bring up our full-screen loupe.

Details

Press the arrow watermark to bring up the reading panel, quickly scroll through the comic using the scroller, lock the orientation or take a screenshot of the comic to use as your iPhone wallpaper.
Don’t like the arrow watermark? no problem. Turn it off in the Settings app. A double-tap will bring up the reading panel instead. Talking of settings, you can select if you’re left or right handed and choose between western and manga modes.

Drag and Drop simplicity

Drag your comic files into ComicZeal Sync, watch them get shrunk. It’s that simple. CZ Sync reads cbr,cbz,rar,zip,pdf files and if given a folder full of images will turn it into a comic.

SyncDocs built in

The standard in third-party iPhone syncing is built right in to ComicZeal Sync. Press ‘Sync Now’ after converting your comics and it will start up, ready to move the comics into ComicZeal. Exit SyncDocs, and ComicZeal Sync exits too.

Sort your comics as you convert them

Using the rename panel you can categorize your files into series, set individual issue names or change their numbering. Have a look at instructions to find out how.

PDF Support

To enable PDF support please install GhostScript from the links on this page. Use the default location and name so that ComicZeal Sync can find it.
